Violets is an anagram for “LOST LIVES” the book that chronicles all those who lost their lives in the recent troubles of Northern Ireland.

Violets is also the title of a new CD release on the same theme, it in no way glorifies the horrors of violence or conflict, but is a work in poetry & song honouring those who lost their lives during the troubles.

The CD contains a collection of poems by Adrian Fox and songs by Rodney Cordner in both traditional and contemporary styles. Most of the poems being accompanied by a backdrop of ambient music on various instruments ie:(fiddle/flute/saxophone/guitar etc)
